With Fourth of July falling in the middle of the week, it appears that sneaker brands have kept the offerings light for the holiday weekend. However, that doesn't mean that there aren't still a few drops worth paying attention to.

The releases kick off on Wednesday with the arrival of the "Optical" Nike Air Max 270 React and women's-exclusive Nike Zoom X Vista Grind. Adidas' offerings for the week hit shelves on Friday in the form of the UK-exclusive London, and the wider launch of Donovan Mitchell's D.O.N. Issue #1.

This week of drops conludes on Saturday with the "Michigan" Air Jordan V, and a "Viotech" Nike Shox TL releasing exclusively at Size in Europe.

For an in-depth look at all of this week's drops, here is a Complete Guide to This Weekend's Sneaker Releases.

Nike Air Max 270 React 'Optical'

The lightweight upper sits atop a chunky white midsole with cut-out sections to reveal recycled foam, and an extended heel. What You Need to Know: Following an exclusive launch on Adidas' web store earlier this week, Donovan Mitchell's first signature model, the D.O.N. Issue #1, is making its way to more Three Stripes accounts. The inaugural "Amazing Spider-Man" colorway is dressed in red and blue to mimic the suit of Marvel's iconic superhero. The basketball sneaker boasts performance features like a propulsion clip on the side panel for lateral support, wide outsole for stability, and Bounce cushioning in the midsole. Branding includes Mitchell's personal logo on the tongue and official Marvel branding on the insole to mark the Peter Parker-inspired collab.

Size x Nike Shox TL 'Viotech'

Price: £150 (app. $190)

When: Saturday, July 6

Where: Size stores and the Size Previews app

What You Need to Know: Size is back with another exclusive drop this week. This time, the European retailer is releasing a Shox TL colorway inspired by the popular "Viotech" colorways from the early 2000s. Atmos' Air Max 1 B from 2003 is the most obvious inspiration as the pair is sports a white mesh upper, khaki cage, brown TPU overlay above the full-length Shox midsole, and gum outsole. Viotech Purple is used for the lateral Swooshes and heel. Mismatched red and blue medial Swooshes, as well as orange trim on the tongue and heel act as a nod to the multi-colored "Viotech" Dunk from 2001.
