With the 2019-2020 NBA regular season kicking off this week, there are plenty of sneakers dropping to mark the occasion. There are a handful of other notable collaborations worth paying attention to as well.
The drops kick off early this week with the "Fearless" Air Jordan I releasing in women's sizing. The first pairs from Nike's NBA Opening Week collection drop on Wednesday with the rest of the pack releasing sporadically throughout the rest of the week. The "Double Cross" Reebok Question Mid and a new colorway of Kawhi Leonard's New Balance OMN1S also arrive at select retailers on Wednesday. On Friday, the "Black" Nike Air Force 1 Skeleton, Forty Percent Against Rights x Nike SB Dunk High, and Aries x New Balance 991 collection all hit shelves.
This week of releases concludes on Saturday with the Bronze56k x Reebok Club C pack, "Shattered Backboard 3.0" Air Jordan I, "Teal Blue" Adidas Yeezy Boost 700, and "Orion's Belt" Concepts x Nike Kyrie 5.

Air Jordan I WMNS 'Fearless'

What You Need to Know: Jordan Brand is releasing a new women's colorway of the Air Jordan I as a part of its "Fearless Ones" series. A flip on the OG "Black/Red" colorway, this pair sports a shiny metallic upper with an all-over dot texture. A more subtle rose gold hue is used in place of the traditional red paneling. "Fearless Ones" insoles complete the unique design.
Nike Basketball Opening Week Collection

What You Need to Know: Finally, the NBA is returning this week. Nike is celebrating in a big way with a special collection of colorways for some of its top signature athletes. Kyrie Irving will take the floor for the first time as a member of the Brooklyn Nets in a Kyrie 5 that continues the collaboration with SpongeBob SquarePants. This particular pair is inspired by the main character's pineapple house. Teammate Kevin Durant, although currently sidelined with injury, is represented with a KD12 inspired by his YouTube channel—complete with official branding on the tongue. Another NASA-inspired PG3 and the "All Bros Pt. 2" Zoom Freek 1 designed with the help of Giannis Antetokounmpo's brother Thanasis round out the pack.
Reebok Question Mid 'Double Cross'

What You Need to Know: Reebok is celebrating the legacy of Hall-of-Famer Allen Iverson with a special pair of his original signature sneakers, 1996's Question Mid. Dubbed the "Double Cross" colorway, the mismatched pair features red accents on the left foot and blue accents on the right as a nod to both OG colorways of the sneaker Iverson wore during his rookie campaign with the Philadelphia 76ers.
New Balance OMN1S
Price: $140
When: Wednesday, Oct. 23

What You Need to Know: With Kawhi Leonard set to make his regular season debut with the Los Angeles Clippers, New Balance is releasing another previously-seen colorway of his OMN1S signature model at retail. The "Reign" color scheme sports a white FitWeave upper, gold leather overlay wrapping the heel, and a translucent outsole.
Nike Air Force 1 Skeleton 'Black'

When: Friday, Oct. 25 at 10 a.m.

What You Need to Know: With Halloween only a few days away, Nike is brining back its Air Force 1 "Skeleton" to celebrate the spooky holiday. This time around, a black leather upper is used. Returning details include a skeletal foot printed across each side panel, and a glow-in-the-dark outsole.
Forty Percent Against Rights x Nike SB Dunk High

What You Need to Know: Forty Percents Against Rights takes inspiration from two popular Air Jordans for its brand new Nike SB Dunk High collab. The Japanese streetwear brand has outfitted the high-top in an all-black leather upper. The standout details include a tongue borrowed from the Air Jordan VI and Swoosh made to mimick the mesh netting on the side panel of the Air Jordan V.
Aries x New Balance 991

When: Friday, Oct. 25

What You Need to Know: London-based label Aries has collaborated with New Balance on two colorways of the 991. The first features a white mesh upper, metallic silver overlays, and bright yellow and orange detailing. The second opts for a much more eye-catching highlighter yellow mesh upper with suede overlays. Aries branding is stamped on the lateral heel of each. The duo will drop alongside a capsule of matching apparel.
Bronze56k x Reebok Club C Revenge

What You Need to Know: Bronze56k was inspired by G-Unit's Reebok G6 sneaker from the early 2000s for its latest collaboration. The New York-based skate brand will offer white and black-based versions of the Club C complete with special co-branding on the tongue, laces, and heel.

Air Jordan I 'Shattered Backboard 3.0'

What You Need to Know: Jordan Brand is dropping the third installment of its popular "Shattered Backboard" Air Jordan I series this weekend. The standout detail is the crinkled patent leather upper sitting atop a cream midsole to provide a more vintage look. The returning black and orange color palette matches the jerseys worn by Michael Jordan during a 1985 exhibition in Italy in which he shattered the backboard with a dunk.
Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 'Teal Blue'

What You Need to Know: Yet another Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 colorway releases this Saturday. A mix of various shades of grey cover the mesh, leahter, and suede upper of the chunky low-top. The "Teal Blue" nickname is derived from the blue overlays present on the toe and side panel. Olive green laces and a light gum outsole add some contrast to the toned-down design.
Concepts x Nike Kyrie 5 'Orion's Belt'

What You Need to Know: Concepts is kicking off the 2019-2020 NBA season with another Nike Kyrie 5 collaboration. The "Orion's Belt" colorway sports a gradient blue upper, gold lace shroud, and graphic detailing on the tongue and Swoosh. The boutique once again draws inspiration from Ancient Egyptian culture. Orion's Belt is a constellation that is believed to align perfectly with all three Pyramids of Giza.
