Swedish skate brand, Polar Skate Co., has been given the opportunity to design its own collaboration with Nike SB. The collection features a Blazer Low and Air Trainer 1, a model popularized by tennis legend John McEnroe in the late '80s that hasn't been seen with much consistency in recent years.
The Blazer Low is dressed in a Summit White suede upper with royal blue leather Swooshes. A co-branded tongue tag is stitched at the top of a vintage-styled nylon tongue. Additional branding can be seen on each insole. Each heel tab bears "Polar" script stitched in blue as well.
This particular Air Trainer 1 opts for a similar color palette with a white leather upper, black suede overlays, and royal blue side panels. Each tongue dons the same tongue tag seen on the Blazer Low, while each heel sports traditional "Nike Air" branding. The "Polar" logo has been moved to the forefoot strap on this option.
Look for the entire Polar Skate Co. x Nike SB collection to hit nike.com and other select SB retailers on Monday, June 10.
