Nike appears to be adding a "Hardwood Classics" look to the colorway lineup of the LeBron 15.
Thanks to @the_broken_baller on Instagram, we have detailed shots and information on this new look that takes inspiration from the Cleveland Cavaliers' throwback jerseys. This 15 sports a blue Battleknit upper with orange accents on the heel tab, Air bag, and Nike branding on the medial heel (a place where branding is not usually seen on this signature model).
Other subtle details include a speckled white midsole, milky translucent outsole, and debossed graphics on the inner tongue and heel tabs like the LeBron Dunkman logo, LJ crown logo, Akron's area code, and the first initials of his three children. The pair will also come with an extra set of orange laces.
The "Hardwood Classics" look is one that's been seen on many LeBron models during James' two runs in Cleveland and is most notably linked to signatures from his first stint like the Zoom LeBron 4 and Air Max LeBron 7.
The Nike LeBron 15 "Hardwood Classics" is set to drop on Feb. 9 as a quickstrike.
UPDATE 01/25: Official images of the "Hardwood Classics" Nike LeBron 15 have leaked.
