New York's Extra Butter stays true to its home on the Lower East Side of the city for its latest collaboration. The "Dear Downtown" collection with Reebok is inspired by the music and art movements of the area in the '80s.
The collab consists of a pair of the Reebok Workout Plus, as well as an accompanying T-shirt and crewneck. The Workout Lo is composed of an all-black upper that utilizes both distressed denim and leather panels. Additional details include a smoked-out translucent outsole with yellow contrast stitching, Extra Butter branding hits on the right tongue and left heel, and black and white checkerboard pull tabs. Each pair will also come with interchangeable insoles that feature various graphics tying back to the overall theme, and multiple lace options to allow for further customization.
The Extra Butter x Reebok Workout Plus "Dear Downtown" is scheduled to release in-store at Extra Butter on Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. An online release will follow at 1 p.m. on extrabutterny.com. Retail is set at $120.
