Nike is dropping a Blazer that pays homage to the state of Georgia.
Known as the "Peach State," Georgia is getting a special shout out on the Nike SB Blazer GT Low "Home State Georgia." With a dusted peach upper and white sole, Swoosh logo, and laces, the sneaker is finished off with a heel peach graphic in lieu of another Nike logo.
The colorway is tied to Nike SB pro Grant Taylor, who hails from Atlanta and has had previous takes on the low-top model.
This Blazer is releasing during an uptick in popularity for the early basketball sneaker, mostly due to its inclusion in the original "The Ten" collaboration between Virgil Abloh and Nike. Abloh's brand, Off-White, is getting set to re-up with the Swoosh in the form of two more colorways for the silhouette that will be a Halloween-inspired "Spooky" pack. A forthcoming collaboration between the NBA and Nike also includes the Blazer.
