Expect to see the "Jumpman" logo on the Charlotte Hornets' uniforms soon.

In a move that seemed to be years in the making, the NBA has finally agreed to terms that will allow corporate sponsors to show their logo on game-time uniforms starting during the 2017-2018 season. To nobody's surprise, Jordan Brand was first in line to outfit the Charlotte Hornets. ESPN's Darren Rovell reports that Jordan Brand's logo will likely appear on the team's uniforms starting in the 2017-2018 season, which makes sense considering Michael Jordan's majority ownership stake and local roots.

We've gotten used to seeing exclusive Jordan Brand sneakers sport the team's colors, but this move will allow the Nike subsidiary to make an even bigger footprint on the franchise. Seeing new logos on all NBA jerseys will definitely take some getting used to, but the "Jumpman" logo won't look out of place at all.
