Concepts has teamed up with Vans once again to pay tribute to its roots. Using the Old Skool silhouette from the Southern California skate brand's Syndicate lineup, the project commemorates The Rathskeller, which was a music venue located in Boston. Commonly referred to as simply "The Rat," the establishment was considered New England's version of the famous CBGBs in New York, playing host to numerous legendary bands.
The Old Skool features an off-white suede, washed denim paneling, and cracked leather details on its eyestay and side stripe. Underneath sits a checkerboard midsole to give it that unique Vans vibe. Bringing the collaboration together are special branded inserts.
Look for the sneaker to drop this Saturday, October 4, from Concepts, in-store (10 a.m.) and online (11 a.m. EST). Box price for the collab will be $90.
