Back in November, KITH released two exclusive ASICS models to commemorate the launch of its app. The "Grand Opening" Gel Lyte III and Gel Saga sneakers were redesigned with a black glove leather upper and a calfskin leather interior for a luxe take on the retro runners. Both styles were only made available through the mobile app.
The "Grand Opening" theme continues into 2015 with the release of the ASICS GT-II silhouette done up with the same high-end vibe. The achromatic color scheme is highlighted by a black leather upper that sits atop a solid white midsole.
It's not yet known if the GT-II will follow in the steps of the initial "Grand Opening" collection as an app-only release, but a release date has already been set for Friday, January 9. Expect specific launch details in the coming days, and make sure to get your hands on the KITH app right now, just in case.
