Thanks to a nosey passer-by at the Els Club in Dubai, today we have further proof that a sponsorship deal between World No. 1 ranked golfer Rory McIlroy and sportswear giant Nike.
During a round of practice at the Els Club, McIlroy was spotted with a bag full Nike clubs, 15 to be exact. Among the notable Nike clubs in Rory’s arsenal are the VR II Pro blades, a Pro Combo cavity back iron, of course the newly-released VR_S Covert driver.
We wouldn't be surprised if Rory and Nike officially join forces sometime early next week.
