As the college football season gets set to kick off in the coming weeks, adidas and the University of Notre Dame are gearing up with the new TECHFIT football uniforms that the Fighting Irish will wear October 6th when they host the Miami Hurricanes for this year’s Shamrock Series game at Soldier Field in Chicago.
The TECHFIT football uniforms feature a modern take on the classic blue and gold jerseys normally worn by Notre Dame. The updated jersey features innovations such as a streamlined fit, new fabric, reduced seams and an ultra-light numbering system—all resulting in a jersey that weighs 30% less. For maximum comfort on the field, the jersey is integrated with ventilation zones and moisture management fabric.
