Former pro skater Max Schaaf was chosen by Vans as the next icon to get a capsule collection. Having hung up his pro skate shoes and pursued a passion for building customized choppers, Schaaf approached the capsule collection with the same attitude he approaches his bikes. The collection consists of the Vans Sk8-Mid and the Vans Era given the "Pro" treatment and done up in a suede/canvas black and gunmetal grey combo. The shoes since being "Pro" have an extra foam slab and a reinforced DURACAP insole, and printed on that insole is Schaaf's 4Q Customizing Shop logo. Based on the outlaw bikes of the 1960s, the Max Schaaf x Vans capsule collection is available now at select Vans accounts.
