If you're an Air Jordan purist, the thought of a someone badly making over your favorite silhouette can make you cringe. There's nothing worse than someone trying to make a "custom" Air Jordan, and completely ruining the sneaker in the process. And there's more than one way to create a bad custom. Some are just awful concepts, some suffer from poor execution, or use a color scheme best left to the sneaker, you know, that it actually came from. The very worst manage all three.
Not to say that there aren't some very talented customizers out there (shout to Mache, JBF Customs, et al), but even the most skilled artists have their flops from time to time. Here are The 20 Worst Custom Air Jordans Right Now.

The great thing about Tinker Hatfield's designs has always been the subtle way he utilizes inspiration. Exhaust pipes are not subtle.

Air Jordan V "What The Fresh Prince"
Customized By: RNB
These should be thrown out like Jazz at Uncle Phil's house.
Air Jordan VI "Freddy Krueger"

For a Dunk SB that never even came out, the "Freddy Kruegers" have spawned more terrible sequels than the damn movie.
Air Jordan IV "Grinch"
