Tommy Hilfiger and Timberland have announced the second drop of their two-tiered collaboration. While the first drop – titled Sampling Our Past – focused on the rich heritage of the two brands, the second – Crafting a New Future – is inspired by the years to come, with a focus on sustainability.
As two brands who share a mutual heritage in the glory days of New York hip-hop, it wasn’t surprising to see the first drop of this collab inspired by the ‘90s. The colours were bright, the shapes true to the era, and the footwear was a combination of Tommy’s classic logo and the iconic Timberland 6-inch boot.
In this week’s Crafting A New Future drop, Tommy & Timberland unveil a durable waterproof hiking boot, in three new colours. The boot features hiking boot laces, metallic speed hooks and a waterproof upper and lining. The boot drops in the stealthy black/black for men, white for the ladies, and a traditional beige/wheat for everyone.
The apparel, which includes jackets, hoodies, tees and more, fashioned from recycled and organic materials, will drop soon. The boots are available now at Timberland.
