Nike's New Tennis Shoe Is Inspired by the Air Tech Challenge 2

Not only is Nike releasing the Air Tech Challenge 2 in a new "Black Lava" colorway, but Andre Agassi's memorable tennis sneaker will also inspire NikeCourt's latest performance-based model.

Today, the Swoosh has unveiled the Tech Challenge 20 with its inaugural colorway serving as an obvious nod to the OG's "Lava" makeup. This model features a mid-cut leather upper that utilizes an asymmetrical ankle collar for support and familiar vibrant red graphics on the sides. The shoe's standout feature is found in its tooling, with a visible Max Air unit at the heel for a smooth heel-to-toe transition along with a hidden Air unit on the medial side to provide durability during slides.

The NikeCourt Tech Challenge 20 will debut on Feb. 26 exclusively for Nike members followed by a wider release on Feb. 29 on Nike.com and select Nike retailers.
