Nike is reimagining what classic running colorways would look like on different silhouettes via an upcoming series of releases coming soon.
Dubbed the “Icons” collection, this set of new sneakers is inspired by an iconic colorways in Nike’s archive. The Air Max 90 gets look from the “Silver Bullet” Air Max 97, with the Air Max Plus inspired by the “Scream Green” Air Huarache. There’s also a “Infrared” Air Max 90-inspired Air Huarache, a “Brutal Honey” Air Max 95 inspired by the Air Presto, and a “Hyper Blue” Air Presto that pays homage to the Air Max Plus.
At the time of writing, release details for this “Icons” Air Max collection have yet to be announced by Nike. Scroll through for a detailed look at each of the styles.
