The liberty for fans to create their very own version of a classic Nike sneaker has never been easier thanks to the Nike By You platform. After recently calling upon Cactus Planet Flea Market, the brand is adding multi-award-winning South African illustrator and street artist Karabo Poppy to the customization program.
According to the brand, the customizable options are inspired by the art found in the traditional African beaded bracelets that are usually paired with a vibrant color palette that includes red, orange, green and purple. Poppy also used inspiration from barber and beauty salon posters that parade the streets in South Africa. Check out some of the options below.
