There’s a new sneaker company that’s transforming some of the most popular footwear releases into sneakers for horses.

That company is Horse Kicks, and the person behind this new concept is Marcus Floyd, a Lexington, Kentucky-based shoe artist who has studied “deconstruction and reconstruction” at The Shoe Surgeon’s SRGN Academy. Each design will be custom made but Horse Kicks has already created several pre-made styles for its debut fall line, with looks that are inspired by the Fragment x Air Jordan 1 High,“Court Purple” Jordan 1,“Dazzling Blue” Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2, and the New Balance 650.

In addition to the launch of the service, Horse Kicks is opening a limited pop-up shop in Kentucky during this year’s Breeders’ Cup World Championships, which will take place from Nov. 4 to 5. The fall line of horse sneakers will be on display at Horse Kicks’ grand opening and will then be auctioned off at the Sneaker Ball Lex charity event on Nov. 12.

Readers who are interested in buying a custom pair of “Horse Kicks” can custom order a pair at starting on Oct. 24 for $1,200 per order. 10 percent of the sales will be donated to Sneaker Ball Lex and its charities.
