As previewed in Jordan Brand’s Spring ‘22 Air Jordan retro collection, there’s a new colorway of the Air Jordan 7 hitting shelves during the first half of 2022.
That pair is this “Sapphire” Air Jordan 7 pictured here, which arrives just in time to celebrate the model’s 30th anniversary this year. Rather than the traditional all-leather construction, mesh panels are used on both the mid panels and ankle collar while tan nubuck is applied throughout the rest of the upper. Additional details include a speckled midsole and a smoky grey translucent outsole.
In addition to the “Sapphire” Air Jordan 7 release, the popular non-OG “Citrus” colorway from 2006 is also reportedly returning this fall.
Per @zSneakerheadz, this “Sapphire” Air Jordan 7 will be released on April 16 at Nike.com and at select Jordan Brand retailers.
