Following the unveiling of the James Harden's new signature sneaker earlier this month, Adidas will be releasing two more colorways of the model themed around The Beard's journey to stardom.
First up is the "Imma Be A Star" edition, inspired by a letter written by Harden to his mother at age 14 that read, "‘Could u wake me up at 7:00 and could u leave me a couple of dollars. P.S. Keep this paper. Imma be a star." Commemorating that note is a black colorway with gold detailing.
Continuing to look back at Harden's past, the "Pioneer" iteration features an all-red upper with grey trim in a remix to his high school team colors.
At $140, the Adidas Harden Vol. 2 "Imma Be A Star" is available now on adidas.com and the "Pioneer" colorway will release on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at adidas.com and at select Adidas retailers. These join the previously leaked "Concrete" and "Traffic Jam" colorways that will also be dropping in March.
