Converse is teaming up with The Andy Warhol Foundation for a second range of sneakers featuring Warhol’s visionary artwork.
The fall 2015 Andy Warhol Chuck Taylor All Star capsule collection features a pair of crisp white premium leather high tops and a pair of black leather low ox sneakers featuring Warhol’s ubiquitous banana peel art. The collection also features two different black canvas high tops; one a self-portrait the artist made by Xeroxing his face and the other The Statue of Liberty.
The Andy Warhol X Converse Chuck Taylor All Star collection hits stores Saturday August 15th and will retail from $90 to $100 CAD. The kicks will be available at Hudson’s Bay, Town Shoes, Get Outside, Maison Bellini, Chaussures X2O and Baggins in Canada and internationally at Converse.com.
