Another Off-White x Air Jordan 1 Is Coming
More Off-White x Air Jordan 1s by Virgil Abloh releasing in 2018.
For the many who missed out on the Off-White x Air Jordan 1s during Monday's frustrating release, there is still some hope. A leaked photo and accompanying style code suggests that Off-White designer Virgil Abloh will release another Air Jordan 1 in 2018, this one in a white colorway.
Leaker @pinoe77 posted on Instagram about a pair releasing next year in white/white with a style code of AQ0818-100. Shortly after, the above image surfaced on Chinese social media platform Weibo that matches the rumored colorway.
Nike has already confirmed that Abloh is releasing more Off-White collab sneakers in 2018. What's more, the designer himself mentioned a white colorway of his Jordan 1 remix at a Nike panel in New York City in September for the pre-launch of his collection.
"That shoe originally was all white," Abloh said, telling the story of the shoe's development. "I was in the airport—I was at Newark; I can remember it—and I was going through the security and I saw somebody in a white pair of Dunks and I couldn’t tell the difference. And I was like, “Emergency: The Jordan needs to be the Chicago colorway. That shoe would have just been a sort of anonymous white shoe.
