Things aren't going well for Kanye West right now. The polarizing rapper opined on the heated U.S. presidential election on-stage last night, saying that he would have voted for Donald Trump had he participated in the election.

"If I would have voted, I would have voted on Trump," West said during the the first stop of the second leg of his Saint Pablo tour.

What does this controversial opinion mean for West's Adidas Yeezy Boost line of sneakers? People burned their New Balances after hearing about the brand supporting Trump, so there is a precedent here. Many Twitter users are already drawing comparisons between the New Balance Trump controversy and West's.

Read a handful of sneaker-centric social media responses to West's Trump comments below and stay tuned to see if Adidas has a comment on the matter.
