The latest rendition of the Air Jordan 1, a sneaker that's been updated many times since its 1985 debut, is a lightweight Flyknit version in the original black and red colorway. The "Banned" Air Jordan 1 Flyknit will release on Sept. 9.
Nike and Jordan officially unveiled the sneaker on Tuesday, providing detailed shots that show how Flyknit recreates the lines of the iconic original. With the official unveil comes mention of a new piece of tech: The Air Jordan 1 Flyknit has a Zoom Air unit in the heel, unlike standard retro pairs.
The rumored retail price for this Air Jordan 1 remix is $180.
