Following the circulation of rumors this week about Jordan Brand producing a sneaker in collaboration with artist Kaws, both entities have confirmed that a project is on the way in 2017. Kaws posted about the shoes on his Instagram on Jan. 9, with Jordan Brand following suit the next day.
Neither has confirmed what the collaboration will consist of in terms of actual product, but images are circulating now of a Kaws x Air Jordan 4. Reputable sneaker info leaker @_po2345 mentioned on Twitter that the pair leaked this week is not the final version that will be available at retail.

While Kaws has never worked on Air Jordan product before, he's designed collab versions of the Air Max 90 Current and Air Force 1 for Nike.

UPDATE 3/3: Kaws has posted a clearer look at his Jordan 4 collaboration on Instagram. That preview, shown above, confirms the grey suede colorway.
UPDATE 3/2: Kaws himself has posted a teaser of his Air Jordan 4 design on Instagram. A retailer has informed Sole Collector that the planned release date for the Kaws x Air Jordan 4 is March 31.
UPDATE 2/28: Leaked images of a cool grey Kaws x Air Jordan 4 matching descriptions of the shoe on social media have appeared. At this point, it doesn't look like the rumored March 4 release date will hold.
