Adidas looks to protect its intellectual property with a new lawsuit filed against sneaker company Athletic Propulsion Labs, KOIN 6 reports.

Per court documents, adidas alleges that APL is "designing, sourcing, manufacturing, distributing, marketing, promoting, offering for sale, and/or selling footwear bearing confusingly similar imitations of adidas’s Three-Stripe Mark.”

One of the sneakers cited as a ripoff is the TechLoom Pro pictured here, which appears in the claim alongside adidas' Ultra Boost.

Adidas wants a court to order APL to pay monetary damages, stop selling the infringing sneakers and give up profits earned from selling them.

Adidas hasn't been shy about suing sneaker companies lately, battling Skechers over its Stan Smith copycat in 2015.
