Adidas Basketball Rings in Chinese New Year via 'Fire Monkey' Shoes

Some of adidas Basketball's more graphic sneakers in recent memory come via this, the brand's upcoming "Fire Monkey" collection created to celebrate Chinese New Year.

For Derrick Rose there's the adidas D Rose 6 ($140) featuring a red fire monkey print, icy blue outsoles and gold accents. For Damian Lillard there's a more subdued adidas D Lillard 2 ($105) featuring the same print in black, along with a similar treatment for its accents and soles.

Both of these "Fire Monkey" sneakers from adidas Basketball will release on Feb. 5.
