Since hitting the scene 8 years ago, rapper and producer Tyler, The Creator has been a regular wearer of Vans and Converse, two companies he's formed official partnerships with over that time. However, much like he's evolving as a musician, Tyler is evolving as a sneakerhead, and he celebrated a milestone moment with his Twitter followers today.
Earlier, Tyler tweeted that he had purchased his first pair of Air Jordans, alerting his followers that proof would soon follow. Shortly after, he shared a picture of himself wearing his new acquisition, the "Shattered Backboard" Air Jordan 1 Retro. Not bad for the first go-round.
With successful Vans and Converse launches under his belt, Tyler has proven to be an influential figure in the hyped sneaker space. Could we see a Golf Le Fleur x Jordan collaboration in the future? Only time will tell.
