Part of Jordan Brand's recent retro strategy has been paying homage to the complete story, from the original sketch to Michael Jordan's iconic on-court moments. As the primary visionary of the Jordan line, designer Tinker Hatfield has been well represented as of late, including his sketch-inspired special edition Air Jordan 3. According to information leaker Pinoe77, that won't be the last sneaker salute to the Architect.

Soon, Michael Jordan's first championship sneaker, the Air Jordan 6, will hit retail in a colorway inspired by another Hatfield-designed classic—the Nike Air Trainer SC 2. The model sports white leather and grey nubuck panels on the upper, complemented by hits of navy and infrared throughout.

The pair is slated to release October 6, 2018 for $190, and it'll also be available in kid's sizing.
