Stephen Curry looked relatively human for three quarters in Wednesday's Game 5 against the Portland Trail Blazers. Going into the final frame, the MVP had "just" 15 points and the Warriors led by 2. Then, as he's done all season long, Curry turned up the dial in the 4th quarter. He tacked on another 14 points to bring his total to 29, including a highlight-worthy three-point dagger to ice the game late. With their 125-121 victory over the resilient Blazers, the Warriors are moving on to the Western Conference Finals once again.
For the night of his MVP trophy presentation, Curry recalled last season's award by bringing back his "MVP" Under Armour Curry One,PE. The limited edition colorway recently released along with the Curry Two as part of a celebratory "Back to Back" Pack.
Perhaps looking to change his luck, Curry switched into a "Warriors Gradient" colorway of the Curry 2.5 for the second half. Considering the results, he made the right call.
