Tonight, Shane McMahon is returning to the WWE ring, but not as a wrestler.
Smackdown Live's commissioner has assigned himself referee duties in the highly anticipated United States title match between Kevin Owens and "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles at SummerSlam. For the occasion, he tapped noted sneaker customizer Mache to provide him with a special pair of sneakers.
The base shoe is the Air Jordan 31, McMahon's current preferred performance model. Mache gave the shoe a striped referee-inspired makeover, adding McMahon's personal logo on the heels.
Though he's not scheduled to compete, it's hard to imagine that McMahon will be completely removed from the action. Find out tonight when SummerSlam airs on the WWE Network.
