It's kind of ironic that Nike is dropping an Entourage-inspired colorway of the Air Max LeBron 8 V/2, considering how much unnecessary attention LeBron's inner circle has gotten in recent years. Even iconic sneaker designer Tinker Hatfield commented on LeBron's controversial crew at the Sole Collector Event in Santa Monica back in October. LeBron would certainly play the part of Vinny Chase in that arrangement, with about the same acting range. How Maverick, Randy and Rich fill out the rest of the roles is still to be determined. While we're figuring that out, let's take our latest look at the shoe that salutes the kids from Queens Boulevard.
Inconspicuously inspired by a promotional poster for the popular TV series, the "Entourage" LeBron 8 V/2 is dressed in photo blue mesh and leather. Black takes care of the laces and fills in the Swoosh, while tour yellow accents the figure-8 lace eyelet, Swoosh border and Flywire panels. Black returns for duty on the midsole, while photo blue works the 360-Air bag and teams with yellow to finish off the outsole.
Look for these to hit Nike retailers on March 4th or pick up a pair from Sole Sneaker Boutique on the 5th.
