With the MLB Home Run Derby set for Kansas City in a little under two weeks, Nike Sportswear preps their "Home Run Derby" footwear, which includes new looks for the signature models of a couple former All-Stars. Seen here is Ken Griffey's Air Max JR hybrid, decked out in turquoise leather and black ballistic mesh. Turquoise also works Swoosh outline embroidery on the forefoot, while Pink Flash subtly complements the look on the upper eyelets, lace loop detailing and pull-tab branding. Black fills in the laces, inner lining, 360-Max Air bag and joins pink to finish off the outsole.
Nike has the "Home Run Derby" Air Max JR listed for a July 3 launch, but you can grab your pair now at shops like Mr. R Sports.
