Even at their $200-or-more price point, Nike's foam-based sneakers have reached instant sellout status in recent years. Models like the Air Foamposite One and Total Air Foamposite Max have found their way off of shelves at a feverish pace, prompting Nike Basketball officials to reintroduce the popular construction technology on modern performance models. This season, the LeBron 9 was given a Foam "test run" of sorts with the option available on NIKEiD, but fall will mark the launch of the next primarily foam performance silhouette.

Seen here is the Nike Air Max Hyperposite, a shoe that combines a Foamposite upper with Hyperfuse composite construction. The model will be the first Foamposite supported by 360-Max Air cushioning and will be worn by Nike Basketball stars like Amar'e Stoudemire next season.

Priced at $200, the Air Max Hyperposite will launch in several colors this fall.
