The epicenter of the Jordan Brand's operations in Japan will be known as Tokyo23, and to celebrate the new venture, the Jordan Brand will release special colorways of the Air Jordan Retro 5 and CP3.IV. Initially referred to as the "Lightnings," the Retro 5 features a yellow suede upper with grey, white and black accents. For the CP3.IV, a grey-based look with black paneling and yellow accenting. Both pairs are finished off with blue-tinted translucent outsoles.
While images are surfacing more frequently, we're still unsure of what kind of availability these shoes will have. Rumors have them dropping sometime in April, but it's not clear whether or not they'll be a Tokyo exclusive. Be sure to keep checking Sole Collector for the latest Tokyo23 developments.
