Another sign that the industry may be running out of ideas, Christian Louboutin released a trash sneaker, and not only in the usual figurative sense.
The Louis Trash Flat is highlighted by clear PVC panels that display actual pieces of garbage lining the sides. From the look of things, there’s stuff like strings, receipts, Magnum wrappers, pencil shavings and candy wrappers. Red bottoms wrap this trashy package up with a little class.
While suggested retail on trash sneakers is $1095, consignment shop The Real Real is offering this pair for a mere $895. But if things are tight with the holiday season approaching, they offer the Affirm finance option — act fast!
