What started as a tumultuous offseason for the New Orleans Hornets has turned into a surprising regular season start. The 'buzz' is no longer about Chris Paul's possible departure, but about how new team general manager Dell Demps is making sure he does what he can to keep his superstar in teal and purple. The Hornets are currently 12-4, and CP3 is all smiles with his re-tooled squad.

Lost in the trade rumors and New Orleans' quick start is the fact that Chris Paul's fourth signature shoe is preparing to hit the market. Like Kevin Durant and the OKC Thunder did with the KD III earlier in the week, Chris Paul quietly premiered the Jordan CP3.IV on Black Friday. Fittingly, the shoe features a black leather and synthetic upper, with hits of metallic silver and white throughout. In the game, Paul scored 16 points and dished out 13 assists as the Hornets routed the Blazers by a score of 97-78.

The Black/Metallic Silver-White colorway of the CP3.IV is expected to drop in January. Retail will be $118.00.
