Perhaps a shoe that can be characterized as a long-lost sibling of recent Ronnie Fieg x Cultureshoq and Sneaker Freaker Asics Gel Lyte III collaborations, Asics is releasing a new black and purple look of the Gel Lyte Speed as part of their Holiday 2010 collection. The shoe features a black nylon base, with tonal suede overlays on the heel, eyestay and forefoot. Hits of light purple are seen on the tongue, collar, trim, outsole and a speckle printed on the midsole. Grey and white lend a helping hand on both the midsole and outsole, as well as a 3M reflective tab on the heel.
