The Air Jordan 5 will be a big factor in Jordan Brand’s plans for 2023, including an all-new women’s exclusive colorway dubbed “Mars for Her.”
Noticeably, this shoe looks a lot like the “Raging Bull” colorway that has been a favorite amongst collectors since its original release in 2009 and 2021 return. The red suede upper on this pair appears to be a little brighter. Other differences include pre-yellowed netting and the addition of orange to the midsole ‘teeth.’ An explanation behind the “Mars for Her” nickname has not yet been provided, but it could be in reference to Spike Lee’s character Mars Blackmon, who was a large part of the Air Jordan 5’s original marketing campaign. The colorway is also very much a representation of the Red Planet.
According to zSneakerheadz, expect the “Mars for Her” Jordan 5 to release on Jan. 14 for $200.
