It has been a big year for adidas Basketball, who has no doubt brought their A-game this year with signature shoes for Dwight Howard and Derrick Rose, as well as a successful re-release of the Crazy 8. The brand's team-oriented shoes have been on point too, including the recently released adiPure. If you watched any of the All-Star festivities, you definitely caught a glimpse of the adiPure, with players like Serge Ibaka, Derrick Favors and Jrue Holiday rocking the brightly colored "Sun" edition. Here's a more subtle colorway of the adiPure that more people could probably see themselves wearing.
This pair sports a black synthetic upper with SprintSkin construction on the lateral side panel for extra stability. Tonal nubuck fills in the medial side, which like the rest of the shoe is branded in white. Full-length adiPrene cushioning offers support in the midsole. White rubber takes care of the outsole, which features a PureMotion Cilia Traction System.
