Earlier this year, the Nike Air VaporMax debuted on Air Max Day and became an instant hit. Now, as Nike unveils its 2017 "Be True" Collection, its no surprise the silhouette is being included.
The Nike Air VaporMax "Be True" features a dark violet Flyknit upper and for the first time ever, a rainbow colored VaporMax unit to represent the original 1978 Pride Flag.
Despite being designed in celebration of the LGBTQ community, the popularity of the sneaker will surely attract buyers from all walks of life. The Nike Air VaporMax "Be True" is scheduled to release for $190 in select cities at Nike+, Nike Lab and other select retailers on June 1. A wider release in North America is to follow on June 5.
