Another limited sneaker launch has been shut down in New York City today due to concerns for the public's safety. This time it occurred at Aimé Leon Dore's flagship store located on 214 Mulberry St. in Soho for the release of its newest New Balance 990 collaboration.

Earlier this week, the New York-based fashion brand announced that this collab will be available today at its in-store location before receiving another launch tomorrow on its website, or so we thought. In an Instagram story posted by the brand, NYPD has shut down the release and the brand has confirmed that the collaborative sneakers will also not be releasing in-store but that all products will be available on Aimeleondore.com tomorrow at 11 a.m. EST. On top of that, the brand has confirmed that the accompanying apparel collection has also been pulled from the in-store release.

As of now, a pair of the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 990v2 has already been sold on StockX for $400.
