PUMA Brought Major Hoop Action to ComplexCon Chicago

On Puma BASKETBALL's deconstructed court, ComplexCon Chicago attendees had access to exclusive releases and more.

PUMA Basketball literally took center court during ComplexCon Chicago. The footwear brand’s “deconstructed basketball court” was an eye-popping activation with loads of top tier talent and spectators sliding through.

With a crashed jumbotron at the center of the booth, PUMA featured a star-powered dunk contest that was hosted by local hero Dave Jeff and featured celebrity judges like Deandre Ayton, Katie Lou Samuelson, and A-Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. Other notable appearances throughout the weekend included rappers G-Eazy and Gunna; basketball legends like Walt Frazier and Ralph Sampson himself; and current NBA star Marvin Bagley III who helped introduce the PUMA x Def Jam 35th Anniversary Clyde Court.

Another big draw for the weekend was PUMA’s collab with Fashion Geek, which included a sick collection of multifaceted pieces. In fact, the merch was overflowing with pairs of Ralph Sampsons, Legacy ’68s, Clyde Core Foil x Mache, and  a line of exclusive TBT jerseys all available to cop.

Music was another big driving force for the activation as there was an exclusive Dreamville listening session where attendees could check out unreleased tracks from J. Cole’s crew. The booth also featured a massive Nipsey Hussle mural that doubled as an Instagrammable photo opp and a fitting tribute to the fallen rapper. Check out the video above for a snapshot of all the highlights.
