2018 isn’t just the year of the dog. It’s also the year of late night talk shows. No longer is our late-night programming limited to the standard network status quo, which trots out predictable guests and adheres to a long played out format. From Desus & Mero, to Robin Thede and Hasan Minhaj, late night television is in the midst of a complete Renaissance. Earlier this year, Complex even jumped in the mix, debuting Open Late with Peter Rosenberg in April.
Tomorrow, we’re taking it a step further with the launch of Restock with Pierce Simpson. Presented by Ruffles, Restock will be the first ever late-night talk show to focus on the many lifestyle touch-points of sneaker culture.
This new weekly series will cover the biggest sneaker stories permeating music, sports, and all other corners of the culture. On our premiere episode, The Shoe Surgeon, Dominic Chambrone, will join Pierce in the studio to discuss his early days constructing shoes, his influence on the sneaker customization market, and why it’s important to “never stop creating.”
