PUMA took over a small corner of East London earlier this week to celebrate 50 years of the iconic PUMA Suede.

The legendary sneaker – which has informed and inspired culture for half a century – is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2018 and as part of the celebrations, PUMA brought hip-hop icon and Suede collaborator Bobbito to a secret location in London for one night only.

Transforming the space into an exhibition by day and a rave by night, PUMA told the storied history of the Suede through a series of graphics, writings and limited edition Suede releases – before handing things over to a DJ line up – including Bobbito, Snips and Mr Thing – championing the sounds that define the PUMA Suede.

Bobbito also sat down with Snips for an in-depth discussion on how sneaker culture has evolved since the Suede first dropped, hip-hop's influence on street style and Bobbito's all-new Suede collaboration which drops on May 12th.

Here's what went down when PUMA and Bobbito shut things down.

The PUMA Suede 50 x Bobbito drops at Hanon, End Clothing, Footpatrol, Urban Industry and 5 Pointz on May 12th. Share your Suedes with the hashtag #ForAllTime.
