Nike Announces the Three Finalists of the London: ON AIR Design Sessions

Three finalists were selected from each major city that took part in the ON AIR design workshops, here are London's entries.

Nike's ON AIR sessions around the world drew in hundreds of hopeful entries to be the next big Air Max, representative of the city in which they were designed. 

London's ON AIR judging panel was headed up by ambassadors Skepta and Alexandra Hackett, and the three finalists for London selected by the panel have now been revealed.

Information on the winners selected for London is as follows: 

Air Max 98 Ode to Layou by Reuben Charters-Bastide:
A born and raised Londoner, Reuben is currently modeling and studying fine arts in his home city. His Air Max 98 Ode to Layou is a tribute to his family and their Caribbean heritage.

Air Max 270 London Darwin by Shamima Ahmed:
Despite being only 18, art and design has been a love of Shamima’s for as long as she can remember. Her Air Max 270 London Darwin is a true expression of this passion. 

Air Max 97 London Summer of Love by Jasmine Lasode:
Jasmine is a visual artist, who moved to London to explore her creativity, and currently lives in the ever-changing East-End of the city. Her Air Max 97 London Summer of Love draws inspiration from a cherished memory – a first date spent on Primrose Hill.
