With the XI being his final playing sneaker, it's only right that Nike releases a colorway dedicated to Lower Merion High School. That is the place where Kobe Bryant became a national sensation, leading up to his eventual jump straight to the NBA. This sneaker honors the Philadelphia area high school by incorporating the school's colors and "Aces" logo on the right heel.

In addition to dressing the XI in Cool Gray, Team Red, and Wolf Gray, this EM version also swaps out the usual Flyknit upper for Hyperfuse. While Flyknit has quickly become one of Nike's most popular technologies, Hyperfuse is a longtime favorite, especially on basketball sneakers. We probably won't ever see Bryant lace these up himself, but it'll go down as a memorable colorway considering its historical relevance.

Nike Blog reports that this sneaker will release on April 9.
