Like with most major holidays, Nike is planning to release special Easter-themed sneakers later this month. We've gotten some early looks at the Nike LeBron XIII and Kyrie 2, and now comes what is believed to be a first look at the Kobe XI colorway. It hasn't been confirmed, but Baltsneakershow took to Instagram to show off this photo, along with the caption "egg hunts," hinting at the Easter theme.
While all special edition colorways are always a good collector piece for sneaker fans, these being the last Easter sneakers that Bryant plays in surely makes them even more sentimental. With every game that passes in his final season, each sneaker he plays in becomes a piece of his final run. Hopefully he puts on a vintage "Mamba" performance if and when he laces these up in a couple of weeks.
