Almost a month ago to the day, adidas and James Harden reached an agreement on a deal worth $200 million over 13 years. This made him adidas' highest paid athlete, but from the looks of things, it wasn't quite enough to keep him from wearing the competition's kicks.

TMZ posted the above photo of Harden and bae Khloe Kardashian leaving a movie over the weekend. While Khloe was repping the adidas Trefoil logo, Harden actually broke out a pair of "Black/Metallic" Air Jordan Vs for the occasion.

It's worth mentioning that the three-time NBA All-Star's new contract doesn't officially kick in until October 1, but still, this probably isn't what adidas had in mind when the deal was closed.
