When it comes to sneakers, Europe has been one step ahead of the U.S. for awhile now.

Think about some of the biggest sneaker trends of the last few years — joggers and pinrolls, retro running shoes, boutique collaborations, and next-level photography are just a few of the waves that our friends across the pond were riding long before we were. While 'heads in the States wait to catch up, one sneaker convention is giving us yet another reason to call our overseas plugs.

As Sneakerness preps to continue its 2015 run with a stop in Paris this September, it's teasing a collaboration with Puma on the brand's Blaze of Glory silhouette. It's not the first time the two have come together — around this time last year, they dropped a triple-black Puma XT-2 for Sneakerness Paris 2014.

From what we can see, this Blaze of Glory's color blocking makes use of brown, violet, and orange palette, although it's hard to say for sure considering the limited view and possible filters involved.

Check back in the coming weeks for more details, but don't expect to have a chance at these unless you're there in person or know a good friend who will be.

UPDATE (July 10, 2:35 p.m.):

Sneakerness has now released official images of the collaboration. Taking its inspiration from the colors of the Metro train used by the event's staff, this Puma Blaze of Glory starts with a burgundy mesh which is supported by blue pigskin suede panels and plastic coral overlays. Inside, the insoles feature a map of the Paris Metro, while Sneakerness Paris branding appears on the pull tabs.
